On Tuesday at noon, 12 August 2008, the University’s Rector, Professor Mohammad Bin Khalifa Al-Tamimi received a delegation from the Islamic University of Al Madinah Al Munawarah.
The delegation included Prof. Dr. Abdullah Bin Sulaiman Algfeli (Dean of Student Affairs at the Islamic University), Dr. Obeid Bin Ali Al Obeid (Dean of Admissions and Registration at the University), Dr. Ahmed Bin Abdullah Bin Katib (Dean of the Faculty of Sharia at the University), Dr. Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz Alfaleh (Dean of the Faculty of Quran at the University), and Dr. Sulaiman Bin Dakheel Alqasha’mi (Director of the Rector’s Office at the University).
The visit’s programme was comprised of a review of a PowerPoint presentation about Al-Madinah International University, its teaching methods, and administrative and executive procedures. The delegation also toured MEDIU’s departments including the Technological and Academic Division of the University. The delegation also listened to a detailed explanation about the operational processes through which the preparation of the courseware for the academic subjects is done, the way of entering E-Books into the Digital Library, and identifying the ways of building and programming technical systems supportive of the educational process at the University.
The visiting delegation expressed its overwhelming happiness towards the administrative and technical integration that MEDIU has reached. The delegation also praised the University’s efforts to serve the Muslims and the Islamic Ummah all over the world. At the end of the visit, the visiting delegation wrote a speech in the Visitors’ Book.
