His eminence had this to say:

“With the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

All praise is for Allah, by whom all good things are completed; and peace and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon his family and Companions. On this visit―which is my second so far―to the auspicious project of Al-Madinah International University, I was pleased with all that has been accomplished in such a short time, and I observed signs that indicate, Allah willing, the sincerity of those running it; and that is the essential ingredient for the success of any act, especially an act such as this blessed educational project, which is, Allah willing, one of the best deeds, a type of jihad: expenditure of wealth, talent and energy to make the word of Allah uppermost. I pray that Allah will bring the goals of its founders to fruition, bless their efforts and reward them for their expenditures and sacrifices with the best rewards He gives to the mujahidin. And may Allah bless and grant peace to our leader and Prophet, Muhammad, and to his family and Companions.
