GENERAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS  General Requirement
Al-Madinah International University is committed to a fair admissions system and we accept a wide range of qualifications. The information on this page provides an overview of the general entry requirements for our foundation (pre-university) and undergraduate courses. Please note that entry requirements are based on the country where applicants underwent their secondary education. Working experience in relevant area to the course applied may strengthen the merit of an application. Also, we recommend that you find out more about the specific entry requirements and other useful information for the course in which you are interested. See Courses. General Entry Requirements The general academic requirements for admission into MEDIU's foundation and undergraduate programmes are as follows: General Academic Requirements for Diploma Programme. Applicants must have: At least three (3) passes in the General Certificate of Education 'Ordinary Level' (GCE) 'O' Level Examination (UK Educational System);
OR
A Pass in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia Vokasional (SPMV) with 3 credits;
OR
Any certificates and working experience that are recognised by the University as equivalent to the above.
Others Requirements. The student should not have any pending disciplinary charges.
The University, if deemed necessary, may ask applicants to submit the University Entrance Examination as a condition for admission.
If deemed necessary, applicants may also be required to attend an interview and/or take an entrance test conducted by the University.

General Academic Requirements for Undergraduate Programme. Applicants must have: A pass in Shahadah Thanawiyyah Ammah examination (compulsory: taken upon the completion of 12 years primary and secondary schools education);
OR
Two principal passes in the STPM (Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia / Malaysia High School Certificate);
OR
Two principal passes in the STAM (Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia / Malaysia High School Religious Certificate) examination;
OR
Two principal passes in the General Certificate of Education 'Advanced Level' (GCE) 'A' Level Examination (UK Educational System);
OR
A pass in MEDIU's Foundation programme with a minimum CGPA of 2.00;
OR
A pass in any Diploma recognised by the Government of Malaysia and/or the Senate of the University;
OR
Passed SPM/SPMV or at least five (5) passes in the General Certificate of Education 'Ordinary Level' (GCE) 'O' Level Examination (UK Educational System) or its equivalent AND at least 3 years working experience;
OR
Any other certificate or qualification that is recognized by the University's Academic Board as equivalent to one of the above.
Others Requirements. The student should not have any pending disciplinary charges.
