Bachelor of Islamic Sciences (Hons) in Da’wah and Usuluddin 

Medium of instruction: Arabic

Course Objectives

• Equip the student to become disciples in the Science of Shari’ah, and become Du’aat (Preachers) in the sake of Allah SWT through wisdom and being good exemplar.
  
• Equip the graduates with strong knowledge of Shari’ah.
  
• Actualizing the graduates abilities in the field of Da’wah, social interaction and the true believe in Aqidah of Ahlul Sunnah wal Jama’ah.
  

Learning Outcomes

Entry Requirement:

• A pass in Shahadah Thanawiyyah Ammah examination (compulsory: taken upon the completion of 12 years primary and secondary schools education);
  OR
• Two(2) principal passes in the STPM (Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia / Malaysia High School Certificate);
  OR
• Two(2) principal passes in the STAM (Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia / Malaysia High School Religious certificate) examination;
  OR
• Two(2) principal passes in the General Certificate of Education Advanced Level (GCE) ‘A’ Level Examination (UK Education System);
  OR
• A pass in MEDIU’s Foundation programme with a minimum CGPA of 2.00;
  OR
• A pass in any Diploma recognized by the Government of Malaysia and/or the Senate of the University;
  OR
• Passed SPM/SPMV or at least five (5) passes in the General Certificate of Education ‘Ordinary Level’ (GCE) ‘O’ Level Examination (UK Education System) or its equivalent AND at least 3 years working experience;
  OR
• Any other certificate or qualification that is recognized by the University’s Academic Board as equivalent to one of the above.
  

Language Requirements

Arabic Language
Applicants applying into courses where the medium of instruction is Arabic and where applicant’s first language is other than Arabic, applicants are required to pass the Al-Madinah Arabic Proficiency Test (MAPT).
