Transference

Article 39:



First
: the transfer application may be approved according to the following rules:

  1. The candidate must be studied in a recognized university.
  2. The candidate must not be terminated for disciplinary reasons.
  3. The candidate must meet the transfer conditions stipulated by the senate.
  4. The number of units that the candidate studied will be calculated as follows:
    • The units must agree with the programme requirements.
    • The units must not be more than 30% of the intended programme.
    • The average of units must not be less than “good”.
    • The equivalence must be on a recommendation of the faculty dean and approved by the board of postgraduate studies.

Second: the candidate transferred according to the procedures and dates announced in the university based on the general rules of transfer.

Third: the postgraduate council shall make equivalence for the subjects studied out of the university on the recommendation of faculties, and mention the equivalence subjects in the student’s academic record, and they will be considered in the CGPA and study hours.

 

Article 40:


The candidate may transfer from one programme to another, after getting the approval of the deans of the two faculties.

  1. The candidate must meet the admission requirements of the intended programme.
  2. The transfer must be in the beginning of the next semester.
  3. The candidate must meet the condition stipulated by the management of the intended programme.
  4. The subjects that are agreed with the requirements of the intended programme will be considered only.
  5. The candidate must continue his study in the current programme until the university approves his transfer.
  6. The subject that the candidate studied will be mentioned in his academic record including the averages of terms and the accumulative average.

 

Article 41:


The candidate may transfer from one specialization to another within the same faculty on the recommendation of the respected faculty and the approval of the postgraduate board.

  1. The candidate must meet the admission requirements and any other conditions stipulated by the respected faculty.
  2. The faculty may the modules studied by the candidate if the respected faculty satisfied that these modules are identical to the specialization that the candidate want to enroll in. these modules will be considered in the candidate’s accumulative average.
  3. The candidate must not be terminated for any reason.
  4. The period that the candidate spent in the previous specialization will be considered in the maximum period of study in the university.
  5. The transfer from one specialization to another is allowed for one time only within the period of study.

 

Article 42:


The candidate may transfer from full time to part time and vice versa, with the consideration of the following terms:

  1. The transfer must be in the within the maximum period of the study.
  2. It is required to get the approval of the respected faculty and the postgraduate board.
