Examination Committee

a. Members of Board of Examination

  1. Deputy Rector for Academic Affairs- As Chairman
  2. Dean of Colleges- Participants
  3. Head of Exam and Records Department- Participant
  4. Head of Admission and Registration Department- Participant
  5. The President of the board may from time to time invite representatives from colleges, to attend meetings of the board.
  6. The Board of Examination secretary will be appointed by the chairman.

b. General Responsibilities
The Board of Examination shall be responsible for all the academic matters related to exams.

c. Roles and responsibilities and authority:

The board of admission shall be responsible for the general supervision of academic matters related with examinations and all of the roles and responsibilities, as stated bellow:

  1. Appointment of board of Admission in every college
  2. The appointment of internal and external examiners.
  3. Recommendation to ratify the final results provided by the colleges and submitted to the Academic Council
  4. Recommendation to ratify the final results of the re-evaluation of the test results provided by the colleges and submitted to the Academic Council
  5. Responsible for the formation of award committees at the university level, and the recommendation to ratify the results and submit them to the Academic Council.
  6. Recommending the adoption of the lists of outstanding students from the colleges.

d. Official tests results:

  1. The Commission shall announce the results of tests – with the exception of test results, graduation – after a recommendation from the validation tests.
  2. To present the results of graduation tests, and to formally announce it after obtaining the academic council consent.
  3. The Commission shall notify the exam center of the mark scheme.
  4. The board of examination has the Authority to withhold the results of any student who have financial problems or disciplinary action taken against him/her, based on the recommendation of the relevant university.
