Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) recently conducted the 9th Food Aid Distribution for its students at the students’ residences on Tuesday-Wednesday, 12-13 May 2020. The staff has successfully distributed the food aid to 173 students comprising local and international students. This is the ninth week of food distributions since the Movement Control Order (MCO) declared by the Malaysian government since 18 March 2020.
The program was organized by the Student Affairs Department under the supervision of the Dean of Student Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Bey Zekkoub Abdelali with the assistance from the university’s officials.
MEDIU’s CEO, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fadlan bin Mohd Othman has expressed his endless gratitude to the generous donors and contributors, “May Allah SWT multiply your good fortune in helping our students here, Jazakumullahu Khairan”.
Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) is currently working to raise funds for food aid assistance during the holy month of Ramadhan. The university requires at least RM 6,800 per week to provide food assistance to nearly 180 students at an average cost of RM 40 per student.
