Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) recently conducted a Food Aid Distribution for the Ramadhan months for its students at the students’ residences on Monday, 27 April 2020. The staff has successfully distributed the food aid to 170 students comprising local and international students. This is the seventh week of food distribution since the Movement Control Order (MCO) declared by the Malaysian government since 18 March 2020.
The program was organized by the Student Affairs Department under the supervision of the Dean of Student Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Bey Zekkoub Abdelali with the assistance from the university’s officials.
MEDIU’s CEO, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fadlan bin Mohd Othman has expressed his endless gratitude to the generous donors and contributors, “MEDIU would like to expressed heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to all the donors of this fund program. May Allah SWT multiply your good fortune in helping our students here, Jazakumullahu Khairan”.
Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) is currently working to raise funds for food aid assistance during the holy month of Ramadhan. The university requires at least RM 7,280 per week to provide food assistance to nearly 182 students at an average cost of RM 40 per student.
