Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) has worked hard to welcome its students for admission after getting all licenses and programs accredited and approved by the Malaysian official authorties. Since MEDIU considered as an international and a domestic university, it was located in Malaysian region since it is possesing an excellent reputation universally and that what made its certificates highly accepted.
There are three main concepts to be distinguished from each other: ( Recognition), (Accreditation), (Equation):
The recognition of the university means that to be registered in the country in which the Arab League headquarter is located. Al-Madinah International University has completed this aspect.
Al-Madinah International University is an independent educational non-profit organization, recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia. Al-Madinah International University has obtained a license and formal accreditation for operation under the document issued by the Ministry of Education Malaysia, number [KPT / JPS / DFT / US / B22], in June 2007. The university is subjected to the laws of the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia, as a private Malaysian University, aims to serve as university in a global manner. The university accepts international students from outside Malaysia. The education system is based on the foundations of e-learning and also based on direct teaching methods where students are taught in the country where the Headquarter is located. The university also provides On-Line classes. The On-Line classes has are from one hundred nationalities around the world. This means that the student can be able get his degree certificate certified by the Ministry of higher Education Malaysia. The student can also get his degree certificate certified by Malaysian Foreign Ministry, and then from his country’s embassy in Malaysia.
The accreditation means the academic accreditation of the university academic programs; under the Malaysian systems all the programs that are offered for students must be accepted and approved by the Authority Malaysian funds and private academic, which concerned monitoring the quality and academic efficiency, known as MQA or Malaysian Qualifications Agency. The agency is internationally recognized. Note that programs go through three stages:
The first stage: the stage of approval of the program.
Second stage: the stage of initial accreditation and will be after the first year of opening the program.
The third stage: the stage of final approval, called (MQR), The MQA’s Website shows what programs have reached that.
