Al-Madinah International University signs a memorandum of understanding with the Afro-Asia Open University

A memorandum of understanding was signed virtually via the Internet on Thursday, June 1, 2023, between Al-Madinah International University, represented by the University’s CEO, Dr. Abdullah Saad A. Alarefi, and the Afro-Asia Open University in Istanbul, Turkey, represented by its CEO, Dr. Abdul-Karim Al-Wazzan. The session was opened by reciting verses from the Qur’an Al-Karim, followed by a speech by His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Alarefi, in which he welcomed the attendees from the Afro-Asia Open University, stressing that such agreements fall within the objectives of Al-Madinah International University to enhance cooperation with universities around the world to serve the university’s goals and future projects.

For his part, Dr. Abdul-Karim Al-Wazzan expressed his deep thanks to Al-Madinah International University in Malaysia, hoping that this memorandum will be a building block for more cooperation between the two universities. After that, the programs of the two universities were reviewed, and at the conclusion of the meeting, the memorandum of understanding was signed by the CEOs of the two universities in the presence of the deputies of the two universities and the directors of international relations.
