On Thursday, August 29, 2024, Al-Madinah International University celebrated its Employee Appreciation Day in the university’s grand hall, with the attendance of the university’s CEO, Dr. Abdullah Saad Alarefi, along with all staff members working at the university’s main campus, and those outside of Malaysia via Zoom. The event began with a recitation of the Quran, followed by a speech from Dr. Abdullah Saad Alarefi, who welcomed the newly joined employees, wishing them success in their roles. He praised the efforts of the university’s staff in fulfilling the university’s mission to the fullest and expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the achievements made, encouraging everyone to continue striving to enhance the university and achieve its goals.

Dr. Abdullah Saad Alarefi noted that this event will be held annually as a token of the university’s appreciation for its outstanding employees and to encourage everyone to compete in delivering the best performance. On this occasion, awards were presented for the Best Lecturer on Campus, Best Lecturer in Distance Learning, Best Researcher, Best Employee in the university’s agencies and departments, as well as the Best Employee in the Administrative Portal. Additionally, the “University CEO’s Award for Outstanding Personality of the Year” was introduced, with certificates of appreciation and material gifts given to each winner, amid the celebration and joy of the attendees. The event concluded with prayers and group photos of the staff and administration.
