On Wednesday, September 10, 2024, Al-Madinah International University in Kuala Lumpur signed a Memorandum of Understanding with STAI Bumi Silampari Lubuklinggau University in Indonesia. The signing took place in the presence of the university’s esteemed Director, Dr. Abdullah Saad Alarefi. The Indonesian university’s delegation, led by its Director, Dr. Ngimadudin, S.Ag., M.H., along with delegation members, was warmly received. The delegation included several university officials, as well as 10 lecturers and 35 students from the Indonesian university. Dr. Abdullah Alarefi welcomed the visiting delegation, and a meeting was held between the two parties to discuss areas of cooperation, particularly in Islamic studies, Arabic language programs, and publishing.
Dr. Ngimadudin expressed his pleasure at meeting the management of Al-Madinah International University and his desire to collaborate with the university, benefiting from its expertise in Arabic language and Islamic studies education, publishing, and student exchange programs. Additionally, a lecture was given to the Indonesian university students at the university campus by Dr. Sami Samir from the Faculty of Islamic Sciences at Al-Madinah International University. At the end of the meeting, the Memorandum of Understanding was signed, and commemorative gifts were exchanged.
