On 11 December 2024, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony was held between Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) and Universitas Al-Azhar, Indonesia.

The primary purpose of this MoU is to strengthen academic cooperation and facilitate the exchange of expertise in the fields of education, scientific research, and community service.

The ceremony was attended by 28 delegates from Universitas Al-Azhar, including 3 lecturers and 25 students.
