Al-Madinah International University welcomed the Mufti of Rwanda, Sheikh Musa Sindayigaya, on Tuesday, 18 November 2025, during an official visit aimed at strengthening scientific and cultural cooperation between the two parties. During the visit, the Sheikh held a meeting with the University CEO, Asst. Prof. TS. Dr. Ammar Bathich, where both sides discussed ways to enhance academic partnerships and training programs, in addition to exploring joint initiatives in the fields of higher education and Islamic studies.

Mufti Sheikh Musa Sindayigaya highlighted Rwanda’s modern renaissance and the remarkable progress it has achieved in development, education, and innovation, stressing the importance of building international cooperation that supports his country’s ongoing advancement. At the conclusion of the visit, both parties expressed their aspiration to strengthen future communication in a manner that serves the educational and research missions of both institutions.
