The Faculty of Finance and Administrative Sciences at Al-Madinah International University participated in the 1st International Conference on Sustainable Tourism, Digital & Management Transformation, held on Thursday, 27 November 2025. The event was organized in partnership with Tatweer Company in Saudi Arabia and Vista Horizon for International Conference Management, the main organizers of the conference.

The opening ceremony was attended by Asst. Prof. TS. Dr. Ammar Bathich, Chief Executive Officer of Al-Madinah International University, alongside Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mazen Mohammed Farea, Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Administrative Sciences, who chaired this year’s conference and delivered an opening speech welcoming the participants. He emphasized the importance of strengthening sustainable tourism and utilizing digital and administrative transformation to support tourism sectors in both developing and developed countries.

The ceremony also saw the attendance of representatives from the Malaysian Ministry of Tourism through Tourism Malaysia, who praised the initiative and the role played by universities and academic institutions in supporting tourism policies and developing competencies within the sector.
