Al-Madinah International University Organizes a Scientific Course to Train Preachers, Imams, and Khateebs

 

In cooperation with the Religious Attaché at the Embassy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Al-Madinah International University organized a scientific training course at its Kuala Lumpur campus to prepare preachers, imams, and khateebs. The course was delivered by Sheikh Dr. Hussein bin Abdullah Al-Ubaidi and took place over two days, Monday and Tuesday, 1–2 December 2025. The event witnessed the attendance of a large number of lecturers and students from within and outside the university.

Sheikh Dr. Hussein bin Abdullah Al-Ubaidi is the former Head of the Department of Fiqh and a faculty member in the Department of Fiqh at the College of Sharia, Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University. He has authored numerous books and scholarly articles in the fields of jurisprudence and acts of worship.

The course began with a welcoming speech by Asst. Prof. TS. Dr. Ammar Bathich, CEO of Al-Madinah International University, in which he welcomed the guests and expressed his pleasure in organizing such scholarly programs that help imams and khateebs in qualifying themselves for this noble mission. The course sessions were marked by a productive and friendly academic atmosphere.
