During a special visit to the campus of Al-Madinah International University in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the university’s CEO, Asst. Prof. TS. Dr. Ammar Bathich, welcomed Mr. Novie Tajuddin, CEO of Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS), an institution operating under the supervision of the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education and responsible for managing and coordinating the affairs of international students coming to Malaysia in cooperation with the relevant government authorities.
The university maintains close cooperation and almost daily communication with Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) regarding student admissions as well as their academic and administrative procedures.
During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the number of international students at the university, in addition to discussions on ways to strengthen mutual cooperation in attracting more international students.
The visit was also attended by the Libyan Ambassador to Malaysia, Mr. Mohammed Atiya, where discussions focused on mechanisms to increase the number of Libyan-sponsored students pursuing their studies at Al-Madinah International University, particularly in light of the strong relationship with the Libyan Embassy.
Also present at the meeting was Mr. Izani bin Yusof, Assistant Director of the Selangor State Private Education Unit, Malaysia.
The meeting was held in conjunction with the graduation ceremony of students from the Libyan School in Kuala Lumpur, organized by the university, during which the university’s CEO delivered a speech to the graduates and encouraged them to continue their academic journey by joining Al-Madinah International University.
