Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) successfully concluded the Arabic Language Mastery Programme on 13 August 2026, with a closing ceremony and the presentation of participation certificates to 36 students from Indonesia. The ceremony was held at the Main Hall, MEDIU Campus, Desa Petaling, Kuala Lumpur.

The ceremony commenced with remarks by Assoc. Prof. Dr Abdulkareem Papula and Dr Farhana Binti Zainol, followed by an inspiring address by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ammar Bathish, Chief Executive of MEDIU.

In his address, he emphasised the importance of students continuing to strive for excellence in mastering the Arabic language, highlighting that proficiency in Arabic can have a significant impact on their future and open broader opportunities in education, communication, and knowledge.

The ceremony also featured several presentations that reflected the experiences and skills acquired by the participants throughout the programme. These included an address by a representative of the teachers from Sekolah Tinggi Islam Darularafah, Indonesia, as well as an Arabic-language speech delivered by the Student Leader, who shared reflections on the experiences and benefits gained during the programme.

In addition, the ceremony featured a passionate and expressive poetry recitation presented by a student representative, showcasing the participants’ developing language abilities and creative talents nurtured throughout the programme.

The ceremony concluded with the presentation of Arabic Language Mastery Programme Certificates of Participation to all participants in recognition of their commitment and efforts in completing the programme.

The programme forms part of Al-Madinah International University’s efforts to strengthen Arabic language education for non-native speakers and provide educational and training programmes that combine language development with cultural experiences. The initiative aims to equip students with skills that can support their academic and professional journeys through the use of the Arabic language.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the university extended its congratulations to all participants and expressed its hope that the knowledge and skills they gained throughout the programme will serve as valuable resources in their academic journeys and future endeavours.
