The Faculty of Computer and Information Technology at Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) is working to expand its human resource base, and in this sense, the Faculty is seeking qualified lecturers, with a good moral reputation, excellent educational and research background, with high experience in the field of educational technology and instructional design.

Required Vacancies:

• Assistant Professor

Responsibilities:

• Deliver academic courses including planning, lecturing, preparation of materials, preparing and conducting assessments, and student consultation.
• Supervise and examine students’ research at the appropriate level based on the lecturer’s qualification.
• Carry out student assessment including preparation of the assessment materials, vetting/review of the assessment, marking, moderation and endorsement.
• Perform quality assurance activities for the programmes and courses.
• Provide academic advising and mentoring.
• Conduct research and publications.
• Serve on faculty/university committee (including student club/association) as related to academic or student welfare.
• Lead the marketing and delivery of selected short courses or consultancy services to industry clients.
• Contribute to the development and advancement of the local community.
• Keep up with advancement in the subject matter expertise and in academic professional skills.
