In collaboration with the Ministry of Health and the Malaysian National Blood Centre, Al-Madinah International University organized a blood donation campaign at its campus in Kuala Lumpur. The campaign witnessed the participation of the surrounding Malaysian community, along with university staff and students. This initiative, launched by the university, aims to raise awareness about the importance of donating blood to the Malaysian National Blood Centre to serve the community and provide blood for patients of various blood types.
The campaign was inaugurated by the esteemed Director of Al-Madinah International University, Dr. Abdullah bin Saad Al-Arefi, who expressed his gratitude to the Malaysian Ministry of Health team and the Malaysian National Blood Centre for accepting the invitation to participate in this campaign. He emphasized the importance of blood donation, adhering to the guidelines recommended by the Malaysian Ministry of Health, highlighting its benefits for both donors and the community. The event also featured a training workshop conducted by the Malaysian Ministry of Health staff for participants, covering first aid techniques and medical methods to assist injured children and adults during emergencies.
