In the presence of His Excellency Dr. Abdullah bin Saad Alarefi, CEO of Al-Madinah International University, the university organized a scientific lecture entitled ‘Islam and the Arabic Language in Malaysia: The Role of Al-Madinah International University.’ The lecture was delivered by Datuk Dr. Muhammad Nur Manuty, Chairman of the Institut Kefahaman Islam Malaysia (IKIM), in the university’s main hall. The lecture discussed the importance of the Arabic language in enhancing Islamic identity in Malaysia and highlighted the significance of cooperation between educational institutions to promote cross-cultural understanding, as well as the role of the university in preparing exceptional talents capable of achieving this goal.
His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Alarefi also spoke about the role of Al-Madinah International University in promoting and teaching the Arabic language and strengthening moderate Islamic culture in Malaysian society. The lecture witnessed significant attendance from faculty members and staff, with numerous questions and discussions following. Datuk Dr. Muhammad Nur Manuty is a well-known and respected figure in the Kingdom of Malaysia. At the conclusion of the lecture, His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Alarefi presented him with a certificate of appreciation for his great efforts in promoting the Arabic language and deepening the concept of moderation and balance.
