The foundation program at MEDIU are designed to provide students with a good foundation to pursue higher studies in a field of Arabic Language and Islamic Studies.

Program Eligibility :

  • Malaysian citizen
  • SPM holder with credit in 5 subjects

FAQs

1. Who can apply for this program?

All Malaysians who holds the (SPM) certificate.

2. When is the deadline for this free program?

MEDIU’s application is open throughout the year, you may apply for a new semester intake.

3. Do I have to pay any fees for the program?

Accepted students are required to pay a Registration Fee of RM 500.

4. Is accommodation provided?

No, the student has to pay or bear the costs for the accommodation.For accommodation application, please contact our Student Services & Activities Department: student.activities@mediu.edu.my

5. What are the conditions to be eligible for this free program?

The conditions are as below:

  • Students have to pass the final examination of the said Foundation Programme which would qualify them to pursue their studies to the Degree level in MEDIU.
  • Students have to pursue their studies for Bachelor level in MEDIU provided that students have to bear the Bachelor fees (either government-sponsored student, Self-sponsored or obtain study loan from PTPTN or MARA).

6. What if I Fail the final examination for the Foundation program?

In the event that the student fails the final examination of the Foundation program, hence the student will not be able to pursue a degree in MEDIU, and shall then have to pay the full fees for the said Foundation program.

7. What if I decide not to continue my Bachelor’s in MEDIU after completing the Foundation program?

If the student decides not to continue to the Bachelor program in MEDIU after completing the said Foundation, the student has to pay the full fees of the said Foundation program.
