Students from the Faculty of Languages at Al-Madinah International University carried out a distinguished field project in collaboration with the MAHFAA Centre for the Care and Support of Individuals with Autism, as part of an initiative aimed at enhancing their practical experience and strengthening their engagement with community service. During his visit to the centre, Prof. Dr. Daud Abdul Quadir Elega, a lecturer at the faculty and Director of International Relations, expressed his deep admiration for the approach used in educating and supporting high-functioning individuals with autism. He noted that appropriate teaching methods and a supportive environment enable them to acquire knowledge efficiently and confidently.
In this context, the University CEO, Asst. Prof. TS. Dr. Ammar Bathich, congratulated the participating students and praised their volunteer efforts and positive involvement in the project, emphasizing that the university is proud of their community engagement and their commitment to carrying the university’s mission through meaningful initiatives. The students expressed their happiness in taking part, particularly in teaching the basics of the Arabic language, affirming that the experience added a valuable human and academic dimension that enriches their educational and professional journey.
