Under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Saad A. Alarefi, CEO of Al-Madinah International University, the university organized a celebration o in the Grand Hall on the occasion of Malaysian Independence Day, which falls on August 31 of each year. The celebration began with the singing of the Malaysian national anthem, followed by His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Saad A. Alarefi handing over the Malaysian flag to the longest serving employee at the university, Ms. Shuhaidah Ahmad Ramly. In his speech on this occasion, His Excellency the University President Dr. Abdullah Saad A. Alarefi congratulated the Malaysian people and government on this national occasion, wishing them further progress and prosperity. He also spoke about the role of the university and its effective contribution to the Malaysian society. The celebration included a number of activities on this national occasion.
