Within the framework of strengthening relations between Al-Madinah International University in Malaysia and the Arab countries, MEDIU CEO, Dr. Abdullah Saad A. Alarefi, visited, on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, His Excellency Ambassador Mr. Thamer Adawn, Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Malaysia, at the headquarters of the Embassy in Kuala Lumpur. The visit happens to confirm the university’s position in the Arab world, and its pioneering role in educating Arab students in Malaysia. His Excellency, Ambassador Mr. Thamer Adwan, welcomed the visit of MEDIU CEO, stressing the good impact that the university has on the Jordanian graduates and its constructive role in graduating more Jordanian students.

To contribute with their colleagues in building the Jordanian economy and benefiting the labour market with their expertise and skills. For his part, His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Alarefi emphasized this important role played by MEDIU and its interest in cooperation with Jordanian universities. He also welcomed the Jordanian students and praised their performance in the Malaysian universities. The CEO confirms that Al-Madinah International University looks forward to increasing the numbers of the Jordanian students in the various faculties of the university and overcoming all obstacles that they may face in their academic journey.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency Mr. Bilal Nsour, First Secretary of the Embassy, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Elsayed Salem, Head of the International Relations Department at the University. At the end of the meeting, Dr. Abdullah Alarefi presented the university’s commemorative shield to His Excellency Ambassador Mr. Thamer Adawn, and the two parties also exchanged memorial photos.
