Under the patronage of His Highness Prince Dr. Khalid bin Bandar bin Salman Al Saud, Al-Madinah International University organized its Fifth Convocation Ceremony on the morning of Saturday, 27 September 2025. The ceremony began with a speech by His Excellency Sheikh Prof. Dr. Saad bin Naser Alshathri, Chairman of the Al-Madinah International University Board of Governors, who expressed his gratitude to the Malaysian government for hosting the University. He also congratulated the graduates on their success and advised them to maintain sincerity and make the best use of their time. This was followed by a speech from Asst. Prof. Ts. Dr. Ammar Bathich, the University’s President, who warmly welcomed the graduates and their families, congratulating them on their diligence and achievements, and wishing them a bright and promising future in all aspects. Afterward, His Highness Prince Dr. Khalid bin Bandar bin Salman Al Saud officially announced the commencement of the Convocation Ceremony, during which certificates were presented to graduates from the five faculties: Faculty of Education, Faculty of Islamic Sciences, Faculty of Languages, Faculty of Finance and Administrative Sciences, and Faculty of Computer Science.
At the conclusion of the certificate presentation, a representative of the graduates delivered a heartfelt speech expressing joy and gratitude on this special day and extended thanks to the University administration for its excellent organization. This was followed by the presentation of awards to outstanding students across various academic levels—Bachelor, Master, and Doctorate—as well as the honoring of the recipient of the Lifetime Learning Award. The ceremony concluded with a special tribute to His Highness Prince Dr. Bandar bin Salman Al Saud, former Chairman of the Board of Governors, in recognition of his leadership from the University’s establishment until 2019, and to Dr. Abdullah bin Saad Alarefi, former President of Al-Madinah International University, who served from March 2022 to April 2025. The event was attended by more than 600 people, including graduates, their families, and friends, and was held at the Putrajaya Marriott Hotel in an atmosphere filled with joy and celebration.
