Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) recently participated in the 6^th International Scientific Online Forum (ISF2020) on 18-22 April 2020. The forum between scholars in Malaysia, Iraq and Algeria was organized by ‘ARID’; a platform for the Arabic speaking researchers and scholars and was held online due to the pandemic outbreak.

MEDIU’s CEO, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fadlan bin Mohd Othman participated as guest of honor in the opening ceremony and presented a keynote speech, which emphasized the role of the academic platforms, including ARID platform for Arabic-speaking researchers. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fadlan’s keen on MEDIU’s leading role in the field of online learning and its publications. MEDIU’s CEO invited all the researchers and participants to publish their academic journals with MEDIU academic journals, which meet the international requirements of peer-reviewed academic journals. In addition, CEO presented a paper in the field of Religious Studies and the Methods of Finding the Authentic Hadith which gained admiration of the forum participants in the forum, followed by a fruitful and valuable discussion among the participants on Malaysia experience in such fields.

Among other MEDIU participants of ISF2020 are Dean Faculty of Languages; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Flayyih Mudhhi Ahmed in which he presented a workshop entitled MEDIU’s online learning experiences since its inception, co-presented with online lecturer of Faculty of Language, Dr. Shifa Muhammad Abdullah Al-Azzawi and lecturer of Faculty of Computer & Information Technology, Asst. Prof. Dr. Yazeed AlSayed Ali Al Moayed. Head of Fiqh and Usul Fiqh Department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yasser Muhammad Al-Tarshani, presented two workshops on Inter-studies in Academic Studies and Maqasid Thinking Skills respectively.

Lastly, MEDIU’s CEO express his heartfelt appreciation to the organizer of the 6^th International Scientific Online Forum (ISF2020) led by the CEO, Dr. Saif Al Suwaidi and all the organizational committees of the forum for the successful event.
