Within the framework of the strategic plan of Al-Madinah International University to exchange experiences in various academic fields, the university signed a memorandum of cooperation on June 20, 2023, represented by its CEO, His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Saad A. Alarefi, with the Islamic University of North Sumatra, Medan, Indonesia, at the university’s headquarters in Kuala Lumpur. From the Indonesian side, a delegation was attended, led by Dr. Nespol Khoiri, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs. Dr. Abdullah Alarefi welcomed the visiting delegation from the Islamic University of North Sumatra, stressing that Al-Madinah International University always seeks to extend cooperation with the surrounding universities, whether in Malaysia or in neighboring countries such as Indonesia, stressing the importance of cooperation and coordination between universities to serve academic research.

For his part, Dr. Nespol Khoiri thanked the CEO of Al-Madinah International University for the good hosting and reception, and pointed out the importance of the role played by the university in the field of academic research and studies to serve researchers and students. At the end of the session, both universities’ programs and faculties were reviewed, and the meeting ended with the signing of the memorandum and the exchange of photos and souvenirs.
