Alhamdulillah, another meaningful milestone was marked as MEDIU’s Quarter 2 (Q2) 2025 Townhall Session took place with great spirit and success.

The session commenced with an impactful presentation of MEDIU’s Q2 achievements by MEDIU’s Vice-Chancellor, The Honourable Dato Dr. Alhazmi Saeed Nowifea S. His delivery not only highlighted the university’s progress but also brought smiles and a renewed sense of pride across the entire MEDIU community.

One of the key highlights of the day was the MEDIU Strategic Plan presentation by MEDIU’s Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic, Research and Innovation), Prof. Dato’ Seri Ir. Dr. Kamal Nasharuddin bin Mustapha, which opened doors of hope and outlined a clearer, more ambitious direction for the university.

The programme concluded with a bilingual presentation by representatives from PPZ-MAIWP as follows:

• Tuan Haji Mohd Sabri bin Mat Said, Manager of the Agent Services Unit
• Tuan Ku Abdullah Hakim bin Ku Sulong, Zakat Executive, PPZ-MAIWP

Both speakers shared meaningful insights into the role of zakat in institutional and community development.

It must be emphasised that the success we celebrate today is not the achievement of any one individual, department, or division. It is the collective success of all of us at MEDIU. United in purpose and guided by shared values, we continue to move forward with strength and determination.
