Dr. Ismail Akzam, currently serving at the Islamic University of Riau (UIR), is an alumni of a Bachelor’s degree programme at Imam University, pursues his Master’s study at Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU), and obtains his Doctorate degree at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM).

His visit to MEDIU is a great honour, reflects the strong academic ties between institutions and his continued contributions to the fields of Arabic language and Islamic studies in this region.
