His Excellency Dato Dr. Saeed Al-Hazmi Nowifea S., Vice Chancellor of Al-Madinah International University, along with his accompanying delegation, paid an official visit to the Islamic Education Division at the Terengganu State Department of Religious Affairs, as part of the university’s efforts to strengthen academic ties and explore prospects for mutual cooperation between the two institutions.
The delegation was warmly received by a number of officials from the Islamic Education Division, including Mr. Mohd Zaini, Director of the Division, and Dr. Mohammad Kulaib, Coordinator of External Relations. During the meeting, both parties discussed potential areas of of collaboration in the field of higher education and ways to support graduates of the division who aspire to further their studies at Al-Madinah International University.
In his remarks, Dato Dr. Al-Hazmi Saeed Nowifea S. emphasised the university’s commitment to building bridges of cooperation with educational institutions and relevant bodies in Malaysia, with the aim of enhancing educational quality and providing students with a robust academic environment that blends authenticity with modernity.
For their part, the officials of the Islamic Education Division welcomed the initiative, expressing their desire to establish strategic partnerships that would broaden academic horizons for students and strengthen their competencies in the fields of Islamic studies, Arabic language, administration, and technological sciences.
The visit also included discussions on several practical proposals, including the organization of orientation programmes, academic exchange visits, and streamlined admission processes for outstanding students all of which aim to solidify the relationship between the two institutions and serve their shared objectives.
This visit comes as part of Al-Madinah International University’s ongoing efforts to expand its international network of cooperation and to reinforce its standing as a leading academic institution serving the Muslim and global communities.
