Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) received a visit from the Federal Territory Zakat Collection Center (PPZ-MAIWP) on Wednesday, 29 July 2020. The delegation was led by the Chief Executive Officer of PPZ-MAIWP, Tuan Haji Ahmad Syukri Yusoff accompanied by his representatives are Tuan Haji Khairul Azhar Samsudin, Assistant General Manager of Dakwah Unit; Ustaz Ahmad Husni bin Abd Rahman, Shariah Unit Manager; Encik Mohd Azman Sulaiman, Manager of Private Da’wah Unit; Encik Muhammad Arif bin Zainuddin, Zakat Executive of the Private Da’wah Unit and Encik Mohd. Yasir Ibrahim from the Business Zakat Dakwah Unit.

The visit was aimed at building relationships with the university as well as delivering tazkirah towards increasing the awareness of Muslims about the obligation of zakat to MEDIU staff by Ustaz Ahmad Husni bin Abd Rahman.

The PPZ-MAIWP delegation was welcomed by the Chief Executive of MEDIU, Prof. Prof. Dr. Fadlan Mohd Othman accompanied by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tayeb Mebrouki, Acting Deputy Chief Executive of the Academic Affairs Division; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doucoure Abdou Samadou, Acting Deputy Chief Executive of the Student Affairs Division; Mr. Ahmad Fallatah, Head of International Relations and Mrs. Nurul Ashikin Abdul Latiff, Registrar of MEDIU.
