Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) recently held a short course ‘Usul Al-Tafsir’ on Saturday, 28 November 2020. This is the third course conducted by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fadlan Mohd Othman; MEDIU’s CEO through the virtual application ‘Zoom’ and the implementation of the course is made easy and suitable for the general public to understand.

This course has attracted almost 47 participants from several countries in Southeast Asia where the main objective of the course is to provide an overview of science, related to the basics and principles of interpretation of the Quran. This course is based on the book ‘Basic Principles of Usul Tafsir’ translated by Dr. Fadlan Mohd Othman from ‘Usool fee Tafseer’ by Shaykh Muhammad bin Salih al-‘Uthaymeen.
