A delegation from D-8 Organization for Economic Cooperation visited the headquarters of Al-Madinah International University in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday, August 24, 2023. They were received by Dr. Abdullah Saad A. Alarefi, CEO of Al-Madinah International University. The delegation was headed by Dato’ Ku Jaafar Bin Ku Shaari, Chairman of the organization, accompanied by a number of employees of the organization. At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Abdullah Saad A. Alarefi welcomed the delegation, stressing the importance of cooperation between the university and the D-8 organization, which is active in a number of countries in the Islamic world.

This was followed by a presentation of Al-Madinah International University programs. At the meeting, the visiting delegation expressed its admiration for the university’s programs and research projects, especially with regard to Islamic economics and finance programmes. Dato’ Ku Jaafar Bin Ku Shaari stressed his desire to cooperate with the university in achieving the common goals of the two sides. Dato’ Ko Jaafar bin Ko Shaari gave an invitation to Dr. Abdullah Saad A. Alarefi to visit the organization’s headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, and the meeting concluded with photos and souvenirs.
