Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) had the opportunity to provide Eidulfitri meals for fifty local and international students on Sunday, 24 May 2020 (1 Syawwal 1441), for those residing near the university in Desa Petaling area.

The distribution is to enlighten the students about the spirit of festival, symbolizing the unity of an international community, furthermore to ease students that are stranded in their vicinity due to the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO). In our multicultural society we need to instill and enforce the universal values of brotherhood, tolerance, peace, compassion and solidarity between students.

The event was organized by MEDIU Student Affairs Department under the supervision of the Dean of Student Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bey Zekkoub Abdelali with the university’s representatives.

The students were delighted with the contribution and take this opportunity to wish “Eid Mubarak & Taqabbal Allahu minna wa minkum” to all Muslims.
