On June 8, 2023, Al-Madinah International University, at the university’s headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, represented by the University’s CEO, Dr. Abdullah Saad A. Alarefi, signed a memorandum of understanding with Umaru Musa Yar’Adua University in Nigeria, represented by the Deputy CEO, Dr. Shamsuddin Abu Bakr Yousef. At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Dr. Abdullah Alarefi welcomed the guest, and expressed the importance of universities taking such initiatives so that cooperation between universities in various fields would be documented to serve scientific research. On the other hand, Dr. Shamsuddin Abu Bakr Youssef praised the experience of Al-Madinah International University in the disciplines it teaches. He stressed the desire of Umaru Musa Yar’Adua University in Nigeria to benefit from this experience in order to add more expertise to researchers and students in Nigeria. At the end of the meeting, the agreement was signed by Dr. Abdullah Al-Arefi and Dr. Shamsuddin  Youssef, and the two parties exchanged gifts and souvenir photos on this occasion.
